Neil R. Sherman is the President of Best Homes Title Agency and Managing Attorney of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He joined the firm in 2002 focusing his practice in the areas real estate law, and specifically bankruptcy, foreclosure and eviction processes. In 2006, Mr. Sherman became Managing Attorney and currently oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations including, but not limited to, the firm’s foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, title and litigation departments. Mr. Sherman is an active member of the American Legal and Financial Network and is acting Chair for Manufactured Housing Committee. He is also an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Michigan Mortgage Lender’s Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
Mr. Sherman is a licensed title agent and regularly speaks on legal issues affecting the lending community. He is a faculty member for Sterling Education Services and regularly lectures on mortgage banking issues.
Mr. Sherman is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then moved to the United States and attended Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2001. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Michigan.

Peter M. Schneiderman is a founding member of Best Homes Title Agency and President of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He founded the original law firm in 1973, which was reincorporated in 1995 under its present name. Mr. Schneiderman has continuously represented clients in the mortgage banking industry since 1975 including the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, title, regulatory, licensing and related litigation matters.
Mr. Schneiderman is a licensed title agent and maintains membership in the Real Property Law and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. The firm is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. In addition, Mr. Schneiderman lectures on real property issues both locally and nationally.
Mr. Schneiderman is a 1967 graduate of the University of Michigan Business School; 1970 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Law; licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado since 1997; admitted as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan since 1973; current member of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Inc., and currently certified to practice law in the U.S. Tax Court, and the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Michigan.

Allan Dick is the Chief Operations Officer for Best Homes Title Agency, LLC. His 35 years of residential and commercial experience in the title insurance industry include managing branch operations, commercial divisions and a National Accounts Division for the nation’s largest title insurance underwriter, First American Title Insurance Company.
Allan previously served as Michigan State Agency Manager, Senior Underwriter and State Training Officer for a number of title insurance underwriters, including Chicago Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Guarantee and First American Title Insurance Company, before joining Best Homes Title Agency, LLC.
Mr. Dick’s diversified experience in marketing, closing and underwriting has made him a frequent presenter to various professional groups on title law, title insurance, escrow, underwriting and problem solving. An active member of the Michigan Land Title Association, Mr. Dick currently serves on its Board of Directors, as well as chairing the MLTA Education Committee, where he is also one of its principal educational speakers. A feature writer for the MLTA’s quarterly newsletter, The Title Examiner, he has also been awarded the Robert J. Jay Award for distinguished service to the MLTA.

Dwayne Ruszala is the Operations Manager for Best Homes Title Agency, LLC. His 25 years of residential and commercial title insurance experience include having been Production Supervisor for the First American Title Insurance Company Southeast Michigan Direct Operations, Agency Operations and County Support Services, as well as the Michigan Production Manager for The Talon Group, a division of First American Title Insurance Company. He has previously been Chief Title Officer for several title agencies in the Southeast Michigan market.

Christy Jessop has 18 years of experience in the title insurance industry. She began as an escrow document preparation specialist and quickly progressed into leadership roles, managing escrow operations for local companies and branch operations for a fortune 500 company specializing in new construction. Her background also includes national risk management and risk analysis for a title insurance agency giving her a larger scope of the real estate and title insurance industry. Christy is married with 2 children and is an avid volunteer for animal rescue groups.
