Neil R. Sherman is the President of Best Homes Title Agency and Managing Attorney of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He joined the firm in 2002 focusing his practice in the areas real estate law, and specifically bankruptcy, foreclosure and eviction processes. In 2006, Mr. Sherman became Managing Attorney and currently oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations including, but not limited to, the firm’s foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, title and litigation departments. Mr. Sherman is an active member of the American Legal and Financial Network and is acting Chair for Manufactured Housing Committee. He is also an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Michigan Mortgage Lender’s Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
Mr. Sherman is a licensed title agent and regularly speaks on legal issues affecting the lending community. He is a faculty member for Sterling Education Services and regularly lectures on mortgage banking issues.
Mr. Sherman is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then moved to the United States and attended Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2001. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Michigan. |
